Islamic Aid was established in 2000 to seek to make immediate and lasting improvements to the lives of people affected by poverty, war and disaster by providing food and water, healthcare, education and livelihoods. We also provide emergency relief when disasters strike poor communities.

Islamic Aid is governed by a Trust Deed and is registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales. (Charity Registration Number: 1189918)

Islamic Aid is an innovative and exciting international development charity. Since its inception in 2000, it’s been driven forward by its Founder and Chairman, the entrepreneur, Mahmood Hassan.

Progress has been impressive with award-winning fundraising delivering impactful projects. The charity continues to grow and funding is now in place to deliver an ambitious expansion plan. This will see Islamic Aid building on its proven entrepreneurial fundraising approach while establishing the foundations for further program work.

Pakistan

In Pakistan we support an independently registered local NGO which we established.
